I have been having problems accurately importing Amex transactions. (Wachovia works perfectly). The first time I imported the Amex transactions, they came in properly. The issue is that each time I hit download, my last three Amex transactions appear in my import window. There is no way to get rid of them. If I hit import several times, then I get several tabs of these transactions.
I really want to like this program. Okay, I do really like this program. But I want to trust this program. Has anyone found a solution to this problem? I sent an email in to support about this during the beta testing, and was told that this was a known problem between the ibank and Amex. I expected this to be solved by the time of release.

I've got a similar issue - Every time I import Amex transactions, it shows previously-imported ones. But, at least in my case, the matching algorithm only checks the new ones. So, it's somewhat jarring visually, but it doesn't lead to duplicate transactions or anything...

Same issue
My Wachovia account downloads just fine, but my AMEX account keeps downloading the same transactions again and again. iBank doesn't perceive then as duplicates, so it will import them if I am not very careful and the duplicate transaction list is growing.

Three Months Later
Okay I tried the demo of the program, and it was wonky. I wanted it to work like so many other people. But it just didn't. I have not heard anything new from the site admins or anyone else on this post. Trying to save myself the time of reintstalling and setting up a demo. Does 3.1 work? Does it really work? Does it reliably download Amex transactions, once and only once? I want it to work, and if it does I am willing to pay for it? But I don't want to deal with hacks or workarounds. This is money I am monitoring. It either works or it doesn't. I really hate quicken, but if it is more reliable, than it is better.
