license restrictions and such

Postby timlance » Tue Dec 29, 2009 10:08 am

Happy New Year!

Is the license for iPaste strictly a one per machine thing? In my situation I am now also using a souped up old G4 iMac at home and find myself going back and forth often. If OK to have on more than one machine I am interested in syncing all that I can (currently using Dropbox - will go all in when they do selective sync/watch any folder). If I can sync where are the clippings kept? I find no iPaste folder in ~/Library or ~/Library/Application Support. Maintained through the .plist file?

Thanks for your work!

The iPaste license agreement permits you to install the software on two computers and register both of them using the same license, provided you don't run both copies simultaneously (it is intended for backup purposes). The clippings are stored in the plist file: /Users/yourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.iggsoftware.iPaste.plist
