iTunes 4.9 to feature Podcasting

Just heard the news that Steve Jobs demonstrated a pre-release version of iTunes 4.9 with podcast support at the All Things Digital conference. You can google for additional details. Update is expected within 60 days.

Being a paid PlayPod user, I was wondering what IGG plans on doing to make their app stand out more in upcoming releases. What new features are we expected to see? Can we start suggesting new features or interface enhancements?

OK, here's a suggestion. Is it possible to design an Apple Dashboard widget of PlayPod's subscription to alert you when a new podcast feed is available?

Could you also paste a feed into it without launching PlayPod but then have it update your list of feeds?

ITunes 8 came out. They've done a lot of improvements.

When iTunes organizes music in the iTunes folder on your computer, is it safe to delete the others?
Basically, I turned on the iTunes preference to organize the music on my computer in the iTunes folder, but I ended up with two of every song. When they're copied into the iTunes folder on your computer, is it okay to go ahead and get rid of the other ones?

You can get the information about iTune 4.9 podcast on apple site. You can add videos and also parental lock for it.Podcast episodes can be added to a playlist, or smart playlist, like any other track. No need of iPod.
